The studio closes to everyone else and it's yours. Teams, birthdays, bachelorette parties, a book club that has stopped reading the book. Anyone who'd rather make something than sit through another dinner.
The team afternoon
Three hours on the wheels for eight to sixteen people. Two instructors once you're twelve or more. Everyone makes a mug, and the mugs go back to the office in one box.
$85 a person- Weekday afternoons
- Coffee, tea and something from the bakery next door

The party
Two and a half hours for up to eight. Wheels or hand building, your call. Cake is allowed at the far table, well away from the clay.
$600 flat- Saturday or Sunday afternoons
- A mug or a bowl each
- The birthday person picks the glaze wall's order
The whole day
Six hours for up to eight, with lunch in the middle. You throw in the morning, trim and glaze in the afternoon, and leave with a set rather than a piece.
$1,400 flat- Any day the studio is closed to classes
- Lunch from the bakery next door
- Four pieces each, glazed the same day
What every booking includes
Nothing to bring but the people.
Clay, tools, aprons, firing and glazing are in the price. So is the pickup two weeks later, or shipping if you'd rather. You can add a glaze-your-own session two weeks on, where the group comes back to glaze what it threw.

Four steps, no deposit until the date is yours.
Send a date
Use the form with a date or two, how many of you there are, and whether it's wheels or hand building.
Get a yes
Marnie replies within two days with what's free. Weekday afternoons are the easiest to get.
Hold it
A $150 deposit holds the date. The rest is paid on the day, and the deposit moves with you if the date changes.
Show up
Short sleeves, no rings. Everything else is here. The mugs are ready two weeks later.
