A like-for-like comparison
Formats are only compared when every post was measured at the same age. If one was not, the workbook says so rather than quietly averaging them together.
Free Excel workbook
Turn 90 days of post data into next cycle’s plan. Compare your formats on like-for-like footing, then get a specific number of posts to publish for each one.
01 / What it answers
One good week can make the wrong format look like a strategy. This workbook looks for the formats that perform well enough, often enough, across several months of posts — and then tells you what to do about it.
Formats are only compared when every post was measured at the same age. If one was not, the workbook says so rather than quietly averaging them together.
The headline number is the median engagement rate per format, so a single viral post can't make a weak format look like a strategy.
Every format is labelled Stronger, Developing or Thin based on how many posts and how many monthly groups sit behind it. A small sample is never dressed up as certainty.
You get a specific number of posts per format for next cycle, with a role for each one: core, challenger, or worth testing.
02 / Inside the workbook
Six guided sheets take you from your export to a plan you can hand a client. The sample data is already worked through, so every view means something the moment you open it.

03 / How it works
The setup stays simple, and none of the assumptions behind the result are hidden from you.
Pick one account, platform, distribution and goal, set your analysis date, and say how many posts you plan to publish next cycle. Every yellow cell is yours to fill.
Replace the sample rows with your own: dates, format, engagement counts, and reach, impressions, views or an imported engagement rate. Row Status tells you exactly what to fix, in plain English.
The dashboard gives you posts per format for next cycle, what to post more of, what to test next, and what still needs measuring before you trust any of it.
