CONCEPT STUDY / 003 CINEMATIC WEBSITE / SELF-INITIATED
tabletop worlds, lit from within

Aether Games

A cinematic website concept for an independent board game studio, designed to make strategy, collectibility, and community feel tangible before anyone opens a box.

A complete point of view, carried through the whole experience.

Aether needed to feel more like entering a game world than browsing a product catalog. The direction pairs a dark, atmospheric interface with luminous components and deliberate moments of interaction.

The concept expands beyond a hero treatment into a complete experience for discovering games, understanding the studio, and joining its community. It is fictional work created to demonstrate Tide’s range in art direction and front-end execution.

A tactile digital centerpiece

The translucent interactive die gives the first screen a physical object to focus on, immediately connecting the interface to tabletop play.

Color that behaves like light

Magenta, violet, cyan, and teal appear as glows and reflections rather than flat decoration, creating depth without losing contrast.
