CONCEPT STUDY / 005 CINEMATIC WEBSITE / SELF-INITIATED
a digital exhale for a noisy day

Lull

A cinematic launch concept for a breath and sleep app, built to feel like the product itself: calm, responsive, spacious, and quietly useful.

A complete point of view, carried through the whole experience.

Lull begins with a simple challenge: a wellness product should not market calm through a loud, overbuilt interface. The concept uses softness, scale, and steady motion to create trust before explaining every feature.

The website also behaves like a product demonstration. Visitors can move through practice types, follow the breathing sequence, and see how Lull fits into different parts of the day. It is fictional work created to explore Tide’s approach to product storytelling.

A visual rhythm that breathes

Large gradients and expanding orbs create a slow inhale-and-exhale cadence that supports the product promise instead of merely illustrating it.

Product navigation as a motif

The floating tab bar behaves like a simplified version of the app, making the landing page feel like a product experience from the first screen.

Softness with enough structure

Pastels carry the emotion while dark plum type, clear sections, and consistent controls keep the page readable and grounded.

Interaction that reassures

Practice states, breathing guidance, and daypart content show how the product responds without turning a calm experience into a feature checklist.
